Healthlink Advisors welcomes Melissa Pettigrew

Please welcome our new Senior Director of Client Development, Melissa Pettigrew.

Melissa joins Healthlink Advisors with experience in the healthcare IT space as a leader in client services and delivery.  She earned her undergraduate degree in Marketing while attending Kent State University and Ferris State University. Having spent the early part of her career in sales and account management, Melissa was eventually drawn to healthcare.  Having experienced difficulty in obtaining medical records for her daughter after relocating to a new state, Melissa sought to help the amazing people in healthcare provide better care for patients and their families by improving systems and processes within healthcare organizations.  This provides organizations with a solid IT platform on which they can improve and accelerate patient care.

As a healthcare IT (HIT) professional in the Denver region, Melissa has also served as the Program Chair on the board of the Colorado HIMSS Chapter from 2015-2019, where she planned chapter events and conferences and built strong relationships within the HIT community.

After hearing from multiple individuals from around the country about Healthlink Advisor’s reputation as a trusted advisor who delivers high-quality deliverables and as a firm with great culture and leadership, Melissa was eager to join a team that lives out its core values on a daily basis.

Originally from Romeo, MI (outside of Detroit), Melissa currently resides in the Denver area of Colorado.  In her spare time, Melissa loves spending time with her husband and three kids. They enjoy all kinds of outdoor activities, including hiking, camping, snowboarding, skiing.  As a former Division I golfer in college, Melissa knows her way around the golf course. Melissa also enjoys a challenge in the kitchen, such as cooking healthier versions of southern-comfort foods.  As ones who value service, Melissa and her husband provide support to the local indigent population and veterans who are at risk for suicide and/or are suffering from post-traumatic stress.

We are excited to have you on the team, Melissa!
